First Aid at Work Certificate

Under current Health and Safety legislation employers must provide trained first aid staff in the workplace that are able to deal with workplace accidents. These individuals must be aware of the contents to be included in your First Aid box.

These workshops provide delegates with hands-on training using simulated materials to provide realistic workplace scenarios. On successful completion of the course, delegates will have learnt the necessary skills and knowledge required to ensure that first aid at work is available.



The course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive and all delegates will be accredited as a registered first aider upon completion.

Course Content:

• Contents of a First Aid Box.
• Communication and Delegation.
• Control of Major Bleeding.
• Dealing with Shock.
• Dealing with Fractures.
• Dealing with Burns and Scalds.
• Dealing with Eye Irritation.
• Legislation.
• Priorities of First Aid.
• Resuscitation and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Course Aims:

• To understand the legal responsibilities relating to first aid at work.
• To have the confidence and expertise to carry out first aid duties.
• To be prepared for all predictable scenarios.
• To complete an assessment in order to gain a nationally recognised qualification in first aid at work.

4 days – Qualified 1st Aider Fees - £190.00 per delegate
1 day – Emergency 1st Aid Fees - £55.00 per delegate
